Tangiers to Malaga – 16 May 2023 (155kms)

There is a restlessness this morning. The final leg into Malaga and the dispersion of the Foxes.
We make our way to Tangers Port and fumble our way through passport control/security. Not busy so relatively easy to embark the Ferry. David does not light up the red flags this time so our luggage is with us.
After arriving back in Spain, we head up the coast to capture a view of the Rock of Gibraltar. Then the final run to Málaga.
We are on a winding highway and the road is awesome. We observe scenery like we haven’t seen since……Morocco! Hana & Gibster are doing their thing up front. Singo takes note and executes a magnificent hard leaning, right hand overtake of Mike which is a precursor to a run not seen since Wayne Gardner. Russ has taken note and thinks, not on my watch and immediately follows in pursuit with a deft double overtake!
Engines screaming, we drop the bikes back at David & Hana’s house at Coin. A quick change and back to the hotel, Parador de Golf.
Our final dinner tonight is where it started….the Cathedral in Málaga. Our leaders are set for a big one. Andy’s already had a big one (several G&T’s) and has a blank look on his face which doesn’t change all night. Some assistance required to direct him to his room. A coupke of other sore heads in the morning for sure.
Epilogue
So there it is; another great Fox Adventure. The Foxes are slowly moving off to new horizons. Russ has headed to Norway for family celebrations; Boxy is already on his way home to get nursing care. His seat is allocated inside the toilet; Mike has a business to run; Andy is walking around the central Malaga Square dazed & confused wishing Nat had arrived a day earlier; Singo is off to Madrid to meet Jane snd explore Europe.
Until next time…..
Al mal tiempo, buena cara
