Well it’s just getting better. The bay outside our hotel looks majestic this morning. Sadly, breakfast did not reciprocate. How does one sustain concentration extracting max from their machine on oats & fruit!! A quick briefing at 8.30.
The ride out of Sørkjosen along the fjord was a show stopper. We dismounted a couple of times, at Rotsund & Samuelsberg, for some photos. We then turn inland and scramble across a green rural track, bouncing & testing our incredible skills. At Rundhaug, Boxy & Gibbo relieve themselves. The local Politi are curious about our group and pass at this very moment. We all smile & wave, except Boxy & Gibbo. A quick lunch at the waterfall at Bardufoss. A couple of hours of fine riding this afternoon. It appears that there has been a lapse of discipline however. The formation riding is absent. It’s every man for themselves. Looks like a refresher course required tonight. Destination tonight is Harstad. We arrive at 4pm. It’s a quiet dinner at the hotel as fatigue starts to set in after 4 solid days on the road.
