The Gibster’s Circumnavigation of Australia – Autumn 2022

Andy put the word out to the foxes about his 40 year wish to do the continent. Quick as a flash Russ was up for it, Singo vacillated, I’m in, I’m out – guys I’ve got to get real, and Hydro joined for the run down the east coast. Starting in April we went clockwise from Sydney to outrun winter in the south and miss the wet season in the north. Some stats from this trip: we covered over 19,000km and 200 hours in the saddle over 7 weeks. we used 1,120 litres of fuel with 80 petrol stops and averaged 525kms per day with an average speed of 96km/h.
